Set in a U.K. jungle, Snake, Rattle & Roll is not for the faint of heart. Though the cartoon like graphics aren’t meant to be scary, the game can be an adrenaline rush for players who don’t exactly enjoy being around snakes. It may even show them that some snakes aren’t so bad. In many ways, the slot is similar to the children’s board game, Snakes and Ladders.
Graphics & Symbols
In keeping with its setting, the background scene behind the reels consists of the dense leaves one would expect to see in a jungle. Hiding in the corners of the reels are a snake with a wide grin on his face, meant to lure players into his territory. To the right of the reels is a 3D animated snake charmer.
On the reels players will see various snakes that live in the jungle, as well as the snake charmer himself. The game’s logo serves as a wild symbol and the scatter symbol is a pair of dice. If the logo lands on the reels five times in one spin players’ winnings are automatically doubled. They act as stacked symbols when this happens.
One prominent symbol on the reels is the coiled snake. When this symbol lands on the reels it expands. If players get five of the coiled snake symbol on the reels at once it triples their winnings. While the reels are spinning it is possible that a young boy will land on them. To the right of the reels, the snake charmer has a Pungi that he will randomly play. The Pungi is a musical instrument that releases notes onto the reels. For each music note, an expanding wild is also added.
Bonus Features
When three of the dice scatter symbols land on the reels at once, a board game resembling Chutes & Ladders is triggered. Players then get three rolls of the dice to help them move along the game board. However, if more than three scatter symbols triggered the bonus, players get extra moves.
On top of the reels is a grid displaying the three types of free spins players can get. Each type has a color assigned to it, with one being yellow, one being blue and one being red. Collecting wilds helps determine which free spins bonus players get.
